These holiday lodges make a lovely location for a few days in Devon. "Kingsford Farm Lodges" are a selection of lodges in the village of Longdown, just a few miles west of Exeter. Located on 65 acres of grounds, each lodge sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, and has a private outdoor hot tub.
You get all the modern conveniences you'd expect from a modern lodge holiday - with a TV, DVD player, washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer all included. There's Wi-Fi available too. And your bed linen, duvets and towels are all included in the price of your holiday here.
Spend your time exploring the grounds; or heading off to see the delights of Devon. A few miles south finds you at the coast - with Exmouth, Teignmouth, and Dawlish all being coastal locations to try. Or, inland, you have Exeter and the Dartmoor National Park.
You can see some of what Devon has to offer, before returning back to Kingsford Farm Lodges for a soak in the hot tub.
You can read a little more about Kingsford Farm Lodges over at Cottage Choice, where these lodges have just been named "lodges of the month".

Royalls Boatyard in Wroxham - a good place to explore the Norfolk Broads
How about a boating holiday? Highly recommended by some, a boating holiday can make a good way to relax for a few days. And where better to take your boating holiday than on the Norfolk Broads. A vast array of waterways, the Norfolk Broads has plenty of places for you to visit.
If the Norfolk Broads does sound like your kind of holiday, you'll need to choose a boat-yard to rent your boat from. May I suggest that "Royalls Boatyard" in Wroxham maybe well worth a look. Royalls Boatyard has a good selection of cruisers for you to try. With a couple of 3 berth boats, ideal for a romantic break on the water. Or a cruiser which is 8 berth, so a good size for a family holiday - or maybe even to share your holiday with friends.
With plenty of wildlife to see; fresh air to take in; and riverside pubs to frequent - it's worth having a look at Royalls Boatyard for a boating holiday.

Beach Cottage in Pakefield - a splendid little holiday cottage sleeping 2 people
This cottage is owned by a friend of ours on East Anglia’s east coast. Nepotism? You may think that, but I think this little holiday cottage stands up on its own right. You’ll find “Beach Cottage” in Pakefield, which is joined onto the southern part of sunny Lowestoft in Suffolk. Sleeping 2 people, this cottage is the perfect place for a couple to get away for a few days. Having said that, the double bed in Beach Cottage can be converted into two singles, so those who don’t know each other well enough to share a bed can still holiday at Beach Cottage!
I said earlier that Beach Cottage is on the east coast. And when I say on the coast, I really do mean on the coast. The beach is only a few metres from your front door. With a path running along this part of the coast, you can walk the half mile or so to Lowestoft; or, for the fitter out there, walk along the beach to Southwold.
Slightly inland you have the Norfolk Broads – with day boats being available from Oulton Broad, 2 miles away. The market town of Beccles is 8 miles away, and has a Lido to enjoy in the summer months (although, of course, you can start the day with a swim in the sea).
Fancy a break in Suffolk with your partner, find out some more about Beach Cottage.

Redlands in Hampshire - a holiday cottage sleeping 14 people. With a swimming pool and hot tub
Redlands in Hampshire is a large holiday cottage with easy access to the M3. I'm saying the access to the M3 as a good thing.
You're still in the countryside at Redlands, it's just that you will have easy access to the road network - especially if you want to
visit London fop the day. Or, indeed, escape London for a short break!
Redlands sleeps 14 people so makes a good choice for those looking to get away with friend and family for a short break. And, you get a a private outdoor swimming pool to boot. Just have a look at the photo on the left. Can you imagine waking up on a summer's morning, and jumping straight into that pool? It'll certainly clear the cobwebs away.
What else can I tell you about Redlands. Oh yes, I remember now. There's a hot tub. If the idea of the swimming pool makes you shiver, why not opt for the hot tub instead. In-fact, I recommend trying both. Get a few lengths of the pool in, then take to the hot tub with a cup of tea. What more could you ask for.
Find can find out more about Redlands near Hook in Hampshire. It's well worth having a look to see whether Redlands is your next holiday.

Sandy Ridge in Holland-on-Sea - a holiday cottage with a swimming pool and hot tub
Here's a cottage for you on the Essex coast "Sandy Ridge in Holland-on-Sea". This large cottage has lots of things going for it: near the beach, a private swimming pool and a hot tub.
So let me start with the cottage itself, Sandy Ridge is a detached holiday cottage and sleeps 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. You have all the mod-cons you would expect from a modern holiday cottage too: satellite TV, Freeview TVs, DVD player, and you have Wi-Fi Too.
But its outside where the real fun starts. There's that swimming pool in the back garden; can you imagine having a holiday with friends or family, and being able to spend a summer's day splashing about in your own pool. And when the sun goes down, you can always take to the hot tub.
Should you want to leave the pool and hot tub behind, you can cross the road to the beach - oh yes, the beach really is that close. Play on the sand, or walk along the promenade - the choice is yours.
Or jump in the car and visit Clacton or Frinton along the coast. Or visit one of the many pretty villages in Constable Country.
If this sounds like the kind of thing you would be interested in, you can have more of a read about Sandy Ridge in Holland-on-Sea over on Cottage-Choice.co.uk, where it's been made a cottage of the month.
