"What a lovely villa. Location was just right to get to different parts of island. Beach in walking distance, night life and restaurants just down the hill but far enough away as not to disturb you. Air con in bedrooms let you have a comfortable night sleep, will be going back. Take snorkelling set for kids well worth it."

and

"Sweetwater is a lovely, spacious clean villa in a secluded spot with easy access to all amenities. Beaches, shops and tavernas were all walkable. We celebrated both an 18 birthday and a 10 year anniversary whilst here. As the owners live close by they are able to sort any problems very quickly."

Lodges at Oakwood Lodges, Selby
Here's a great idea for those looking for a hot tub holiday in the north of England. Oakwood Lodges near Selby - which is a few miles south of York - are a small collection of holiday lodges, each with its own private hot tub, located around a small lake.

The lodges sleep 4 people, and make a great location for a family holiday. We had just such a family holiday at Oakwood Lodges and really enjoyed the peace & quiet; and some time in the hot tub!

You don't need to travel too far to see some sights either. The town of Selby has shops, restaurants and take-aways. With York being an easy drive up the A19 too. Should you decide that a day in York is the order of the day, the best way to get there is to park in the McArthurGlen shopping village on the outskirts of York, and catch the bus into the centre.

Leeds is also worth a visit for the day; we spend a good few hours at the Royal Armoury in Leeds.
The Shambles - in York

Back at Oakwood Lodges you'll find the lodges have all you need to keep you going for a few days. The lodges are self-catering, so there's a kitchen with hob and oven. The living room has a TV too, so should you decide to drag yourself out of the hot tub in the evening you can always catch the latest episode of East Enders.

You can see more photos of Oakwood Lodges here. And should you want to book yourself a holiday, follow the "find our more button on the photo website, and you'll be directed to Hoseasons - where you can book a little bit of Yorkshire paradise for yourself!

Photos of holiday cottages

Here's a website for those interested in holiday cottages around the UK. www.images.holiday has, as the very
name suggests, a bunch of photos for holidays. At the time of writing you'll find photos for cottages in the UK - with a few in Ireland too. There
really are quite a few cottages to choose from, with more cottages being added all the time, so there should be something to catch your eye.

As the slow ticking of time passes by there will be more holiday types added. After all, isn't it photos we really want to see before we
decide on the holiday to take. Obviously we need a little bit of the written word, but, as the old saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words" (thanks
to Frederick R. Barnard for that one). Mr Barnard is correct though, especially when we're looking to buy something. What we really want to see
is photos - with P for plenty being appropriate.

That's enough words about this for now, www.images.holiday is about photos - so nip across and see cottage photos
available.

Oh, one last thing: if you've got more photos of the cottages shown, email them across and they too can appear on the website.
